The Cleveland Bat Group is Affiliated with the Bat Conservation Trust who are a registered British charity dedicated to the conservation of bats and their habitats in the UK. BCT was founded in 1991 and is the only national organisation solely devoted to bats.

The Bat Conservation Trust supports over 100 local bat groups and works with volunteers, scientists, industry and government both locally and nationally on a range of projects. Their work focuses on discovering more about bats and how they use the landscape, and taking action to protect bats. and enhance the landscapes on which they rely, inspiring people about bats and their environment, engaging them in their conservation.

Tees Valley Wildlife Trust is part of the influential UK-wide partnership of 47 Wildlife Trusts. The Trust has worked for more than 30 years to protect wildlife and wild places, and educate, influence and empower people. We manage 16 Nature Reserves and help others manage their countryside sites.
